Last week's Poetry Fishbowl went well. I am still writing.
Poetry in Microfunding:
There are two open epics at present.
"Rainshadow Road" belongs the Daughters of the Apocalypse series. It discusses herbalism.
"A Celebration and a Consolation" belongs to Polychrome Heroics. Keira and her mother talk about living arrangements.
The weather has been mild here, although it's getting cooler, with frost on some nights. Seen at the birdfeeders this week: a flock of house finches, a small flock of dark-eyed juncos, several goldfinches, a few sparrows, a male cardinal, and two fox squirrels. Fall bulbs have arrived and been planted. Currently blooming: morning glories, petunia, zinnias, marigolds. Most of the fields have been harvested. The honeybees are still active, but much less now.
