Good News

Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

Birdfeeding

Today is cold and gray. Earlier there was a silver frost, which is gone now, but there's also a faint dusting of new snow on the ground.

I fed the birds. They had gotten into the thistle seed too. I've seen a large flock of sparrows, several cardinals, several mourning doves, a Bewick's wren, and a downy woodpecker. Yesterday I saw a rabbit.

Moment of Silence: Wendy Griffin

Pagan scholar Wendy Griffin has passed away.  She helped establish the academic study of Paganism.

Recipe: "Beef and Peas Stir-fry"

We made a new stir-fry recipe tonight, and we're really happy with how it turned out. :D  I'm excited that it didn't take many wok recipes before I made one that we love on the first try.
