Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture offers a way to connect food shoppers with local farmers. Most CSA farms do their planning for the next season in November-December, then open subscriptions in January-February. Now is the time to think about joining a CSA this year. Some farms offer shorter subscriptions or even let you buy a box whenever you want, but this time of year typically has the best bargains and selection, because shares do sell out.

Poem: "Delight in Another"

This was the linkback perk poem for the January 5, 2021 Poetry Fishbowl, originally hosted by Dreamwidth user Dialecticdreamer.  It is spillover from the July 7, 2020 Poetry Fishbowl.  It was inspired by a prompt from kestrels_nest.  It also fills the "Antlers" square in my 7-1-20 card for the Winterfest in July Bingo.

There has long been
a fine line between
witches and bitches,
just one letter and
a bit of religion
down the middle
of similar women.

So too the division
between lesbians
and rebels, women
discontent with being
nothing but accessories
on the elbows of men.
