Today is sunny and mild.
I fed the birds. I heard a bluejay screaming and a woodpecker drumming. :D
For my vision-impaired friends, and anyone living in junglesome areas where birds are easier to hear than to see, here are some resources for birding by ear:

The firepit had burned down almost all to ashes. I raked it and laid the chimney for a new fire. In case you're wondering about the chimney trick, it involves building several layers of
log cabin at the base for airflow, then piling other things on top.
EDIT 9/24/20 -- I went back out and cut up dry brush for the firepit.
