Moment of Silence: Joe Ruby

Joe Ruby has passed away.  He is known for creating cartoon series including Scooby Doo, Jabberjaw, and Thundarr the Barbarian among many others.  Scooby Doo is the longest-running cartoon on television in terms of staying on the air with new content.

Birdfeeding

Today is partly sunny and warm.

I fed the birds.

I cut up brush in the ritual meadow and piled it in the firepit. 

EDIT 8/28/20 -- I picked up sticks in the streetside yard.

EDIT 8/20/20 -- I cut up more brush in the ritual meadow.

One of the owlets is out shrieking.  It's a lower, wheezier sound now.  I walked out to the edge of the yard and saw the owlet perched on the telephone pole again.  :D  Then it flew away, east along the edge of the yard.

Based on an audience poll, there are 8 new verses in "The Best Understanding of Their Differences."  Vagary is not comfortable in this park.

Moment of Silence: Chadwick Boseman

Actor Chadwick Boseman has passed away.  He starred in the movies Marshall and Black Panther among many others.

... are good for the economy.  Becoming a book town is even better, as it draws literary tourists.
