Self-Awareness Question: Time Alone

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. This is the current list on self-awareness.

39. Do you enjoy spending time alone?

Yes, very much so.

Birdfeeding

Today is mostly sunny and warm.

I fed the birds.  I saw a male goldfinch on the thistle feeder earlier today.  :D

We worked in the orchard again, clearing brush and cutting it up. 

EDIT 7/16/20 -- I picked up dead wood in the orchard and dumped it on the firepit.

EDIT 7/16/20 -- I gathered some of the walnut fronds from the orchard and spread them in the ritual meadow to dry before they can be burned.

EDIT 7/16/20 -- We burned off the firepit tonight.

Sunshine Challenge: Prompt 5 Blue

Prompt 5: Blue

Blue is a tranquil color that is associated with a variety of things including: balance, discovery, peace, calm, openness, patience, honor, grace, trust, depression, recovery, prophecy, respect, empathy, flexibility, and water.

Sun-bleached bones were most wonderful against the blue – that blue that will always be there as it is now after all man’s destruction is finished. – Georgia O’Keeffe

Blue is often introspective and deep in its calm stillness. When you have been blue, have you been patient with yourself? Have you taken the time to explore your inner self and discover ways to progress?

Across the ocean,
Quivering whitecaps
Undulate over the surface
And tumble into the troughs,
Making the waves break into
Arabesques of bright blue.
Rolling in the wind, falling
Into the sand, the color
Nibbles at the beach then
Elopes into the distance.
