9. Who or what has changed your life?

One big change was meeting my partner Doug.

Another was discovering crowdfunding, which really shifted how I write and release things.

I want this book. It has some cool ideas, and also some extremely creepy ones.  It raises fascinating questions about the nature of humanity and the ethics of gengineering.

Why Canon Het Is Boring

... an excellent list of reasons.  Much of which boils down to: because writers don't really know what a healthy relationship looks like.  I try to do better, but a lot of time I wind up writing non-het relationships because they get less coverage, making it easier to do new things with them.
