"A Boat to Go Chasing the Whales"
Your prompt about Dr. Infanta inspired the free-verse poem "A Boat to Go Chasing the Whales." Aquariana leads an ocean tour for Alicia and Judd to meet Steel and Moderato. Alicia has a yacht. The result is mostly fun with a little angst.
425 lines, Buy It Now = $213

Aquariana wondered again
how she had gotten roped into
organizing a private ocean tour
for a world-famous supervillain.

Alicia Martins looked like a little girl,
but apparently she'd looked that way
for about seven hundred years.

"En Décalage"
Your Damask prompt inspired the free-verse poem "En Décalage." Savoir Faire begins to suspect something unusual about Damask.
86 lines, Buy It Now = $43

Savvy has known Damask
for half a year before he begins
to notice something truly odd.

"Far More Essential Than Our Other Senses"
Your Vagary prompt inspired the free-verse poem "Far More Essential Than Our Other Senses." Vagary cuddles up with friends from Kraken.
141 lines, Buy It Now = $71

Vagary cared about Calliope,
but she was exhausting.

He was tired of being lonely,
tired of feeling like a burden, and
tired of never being good enough.

"Flowing into the Future"
Your prompt contributed to the free-verse poem "Flowing into the Future." Aunt Flo wants to immigrate to the Maldives with her research for improving women's lives.
198 lines, Buy It Now = $99

President Latheef looked up
from the immigration file at
the middle-aged blonde woman
wearing a white lab coat over
a pale blue blouse and slacks.

"Tell me what brings you to
the Maldives," he said.

"The Friend in My Adversity"
This inspired the free-verse poem "The Friend in My Adversity." The morning after the attack, Joshua and Pips start dealing with the fallout. This is mostly hurt/comfort fluff with some serious bits.
693 lines, Buy It Now = $347

When Joshua woke at five
to change Dylan, he peeked
into bedroom to find Pips
still sound asleep.

"Indispensable to Each Other"
Your Vagary prompt contributed to the free-verse poem "Indispensable to Each Other." Calliope goes on a weekend trip to Tulsa for a training workshop about Mixed-Cape Emergency Response. There she meets Ansel and some other interesting people.
1358 lines, Buy It Now = $679

Vagary was gone.

He had been gone for
quite some time now,
and so Calliope was
enjoying the respite.

"The One That Keeps Demanding"
Your first prompt inspired the free-verse poem "The One That Keeps Demanding." Dr. G brings some social stories for Shiv, and due to past abuse, Shiv loses his shit. Dr. G lets him vent, and then invites him to write anti-social stories.
1259 lines, Buy It Now = $630

"I tried to book the art room for us,
Shiv, but that's already full today,"
said Dr. G. "We'll be working in
a private meeting room, but it's
okay, because I brought plenty
of interesting things to do."

"Whatever," Shiv said with
a shrug. This therapy shit wasn't
his idea, so he didn't care about it.

"Stars and Diamonds"
This inspired the free-verse poem "Stars and Diamonds." It talks about how these two things both excite the sense of wonder.
15 lines, Buy It Now = $10

"There I See the Kraken Rising"
Your decloaking prompt inspired the free-verse poem "There I See the Kraken Rising." A meeting in the Maldives begins an alliance that will benefit both the island nation and Kraken.
664 lines, Buy It Now = $332

Mamadou Latheef straightened
his suit and tried not to look nervous.

Beside him, his senior wife Khadijah
was serene in her elegant green dress
brilliant with silver and gold embroidery,
scarves of ivory and gilt wrapped
over her long graying hair.

"To Be Able to Rise from the Earth"
Your Maldives prompt inspired the free-verse poem "To Be Able to Rise from the Earth." An immigrant presents the President with a space program in a briefcase.
188 lines, Buy It Now = $94

The latest applicant for
Maldivian citizenship arrived
in President Latheef's office
with a silver briefcase in hand.

"My name is Forouhar Azam," he said
in fluent Arabic spiced with Iranian notes.

"Thank you for agreeing to see me."

"Wings, Dragons"
Your dragon prompt inspired the free-verse poem "Wings, Dragons." The Six Races may envy the dragons for flight in different degrees, but there's one thing that everyone envies.
41 lines, Buy It Now = $20

Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. I'm starting with this list.

15. What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?

Mine would be my writing.

Today is cloudy and mild.

Round One, I cleared spaces for planting seedlings.

EDIT 5/31/18: Round Two, I planted a Dolgo crabapple and a plumcot in the orchard.

EDIT 5/31/18: Round Three, I cleared spaces in the blackberry patch.

EDIT 5/31/18: Round Four, I planted and covered three dewberries in the blackberry patch.  I needed Doug's help to get the holes dug.

EDIT 5/31/18: Round Five, I mulched and watered the dewberries.  Then I planted sage and Mexican oregano in the strip garden.  It's starting to sprinkle, so I'm done for the night.

This session's theme was "anything goes." A power outage split the Tuesday writing into two parts, but I managed a total of 17 hours. I wrote a total of 8 poems on Tuesday and another 10 later.

Despite the interruption, participation was great. A total of 24 people sent prompts. There were no new prompters.
