Sunday Yardening
May. 20th, 2018 04:35 pmToday is partly sunny and warm. It rained a little this morning. :D My bergamot and sage are blooming vigorously. Four of the black irises are open and some of the first peonies are too.
I picked up a trolley full of sticks and one big branch from the forest yard, and dumped those in the firepit. Doug is out mowing a section to seed with big bluestem, a type of native prairie grass.
EDIT 5-20-18: I went back out to sow the big bluestem seed. Then I took the grass shears and started trimming around the wagonwheel garden.
