Good News

Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

Poem: "Look at Me with Fresh Eyes"

This poem came out of the August 1, 2017 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by prompts from readera, we_are_spc (Fallon), chanter_greenie, dreamwriteremmy, and daisiesrockalot. Moment of Silence: Haruo Nakajima

Haruo Nakajima has died.  He was best known for playing Gojira (Godzilla) but also played a number of other movie monsters.

I imagine that Greatcon is painting cardboard box buildings as fast as they can in preparation for the welcoming bash.  RAAAR! *radioactive breath* RAAAAAAR! 

Wednesday Yardening

Today is mild and partly cloudy.  Butterflies everywhere.  We picked up four big piles of grass from the savanna.
