Sunday Yardening

Today we bought some stump killer to put over the cut ends so they won't resprout.  Instead of a sensible spray or squirt top, this stuff comes with a 1/4" brush and instructions to cover the entire surface.  0_o  I really hope this works because it is fucking tedious to apply.  So far I've done the stumps around the rock garden tree, the saplings and forsythia stumps on the south side of the house, and a couple of saplings on the west side.  There is a ton more to do.  Bleah.

Superheroes in Real Life

I found this fantastic documentary about real-life superheroes. It features a variety of people in cities across America who dress up in costumes and work on making the world a better place. They're a very diverse group.
