It's been raining off and on this week, with more due. I am caught up on current planting, although there's a ton of other stuff to do. Seen at the bird feeders this week: small flock of sparrows, several mourning doves, a pair of cardinals, many grackles, and a cowbird. Currently blooming: violets, honeysuckle, zinnias, petunias, marigolds, million bells, moss rose, johnny jump ups, columbines, poppies, iris, peonies.
