This poem came out of the November 3, 2015 Poetry Fishbowl. It was inspired by discussions with dialecticdreamer and other folks about fallout from her demifiction "City Pranked!" It also fills the "re-defining pieces of a bigger problem" square in my 11-3-15 card for the Disaster Bingo fest, and the "Mechanisms, engines, and clockwork" square in my 9-4-15 card for the ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
