Zilpha Keatley Snyder has passed away.  She wrote many books for young adults, often speculative fiction.  Below the Root, And All Between, and Until the Celebration were among my favorites.

Recipes: African Feast

Tonight I made African Goat Roast, African Candied Yams, and Ginger Gold Apple Cobbler. It was so good, my tail wagged my butt for five minutes straight.
