dialecticdreamer has written the demifiction "Pueblos de los Muertos" inspired by my Polychrome Heroics setting and also a  bingo card of demifiction prompts.  This newspaper article recounts a memorial ceremony honoring the tragic loss of one of the first towns that tried to incorporate people with superpowers openly among the populace.  It is bittersweet and beautiful.

This is the kind of side story that you almost never see in mainstream superhero entertainment, and it's exactly what interests me about the genre.  How would these powers change people's lives and history?  How would that resemble or differ from the experiences of other marginalized groups?  Demifiction is ideal for exploring these ideas.
