There's a new section of book descriptions in Torn World, "Mythology and Traditional Tales," some by me and some not. This is a fun bit of demifiction that Torn World contributors can use if they want to include books in their stories or pictures.

Jun. 24th, 2014 02:32 pmThis is an advance announcement for the Tuesday, July 1, 2014 Poetry Fishbowl. This time the theme will be "concerning cats." I'll be soliciting ideas for domestic cats, big cats, felinoid aliens, cat lovers, cat haters, cat deities, things which are called 'cat' but are not felines, raising cats, rescuing cats, strange things that cats do, belling the cat, plot twists, trees, doors, laps, cat lairs, cat houses, other places cats may be found, catnip, cat toys, cat genetics, breeds and colors, nine lives, pawprints, and poetic forms in particular.
I have a linkback poem, "Look at Me" (20 verses, Polychrome Heroics). DW user Dialecticdreamer has offered to host this.

Poetry Fishbowl Report for June 17, 2014
Jun. 24th, 2014 11:06 pmThis bonus session featured the series Frankenstein's Family. I worked from 1:15 PM to 4 AM, so about 13 hours 15 minutes, allowing for lunch and supper breaks. I wrote 5 poems on Tuesday and another 5 later, all epics this time.
Participation was modest, with 27 comments on LiveJournal and another 17 on Dreamwidth. There were 12 prompters, none of them new.
