Check out this new crowdfunding project, Rekindling the Fire: Ratha's Creature Graphic Novel. It's about a prehistoric cat who discovers fire. Tod Wills (LiveJournal user Djinni) is one of the contributing artists.

Approved as canon: "Squiggles: Excerpts from Nleimen's Journal," (fiction) "The Urge to Fly" "Autumn Gathering," (poetry). Back to me for edits: "Breaking the Ice," "Beached Fish" (fiction). Currently in front of the canon board: "Drawing the Triangle," "Unicorns on Parade" (fiction), "Ghost Bat" (nonfiction). Drafted: "First Return," "Cutting Cords and Clasping Hands," "Like Ash Before the Wind," "From Dark to Bright," "The Inappropriate But Useful Disposal of Lettuce" "A Thin Red Trail" "The Museum of Mortality" (fiction), "Working for It," "Changes in the Wind" (poetry), "Publishers in the Empire" (nonfiction). In revision at home: "Water Dance," "When the Wind's Teeth Sing," "Raining Kittens," "Finding the Holes" (fiction), "The Smallest Invaders" (poetry). Currently writing: "Catch of the Day," "Winterheart" "A Cold Clear Night" (fiction).
The weather here was warm for a few days, then briefly but thoroughly obnoxious with a cold rain that fogged car windows opaque for hours on end. Birds have been huddled around the feeders.

It was inspired by a poem and some stories from wyld_dandelyon about her characters Dini and Lalya. Also, the title is correct and not a typo: Lalya has a male body but has recently been relicensed as female for the purpose of marrying Dini.This poem has not yet been through the process of character permission or Canon Board approval
