ysabetwordsmith: (Schrodinger's Heroes)
I've posted my fourth bingo in my card for the [community profile] kink_bingo  fest.  It features Schrodinger's Heroes, Hart's Farm, and Penumbra as the settings.

This fest encourages people to push the limits of their comfort zone by creating erotica, pr0n, smut, and other sexy stuff in the many flavors of kinky, sensual, and otherwise exotic activities. It's open to all fandoms plus original content, and all kinds of material.  Expect much of the content to be NSFW.  Read the prompts and rules here. The signup post is here.

I thought this might be an effective way to attract some new readers. It's also useful for developing some of my more romantically adventurous series.

This story fills a square on my card for the [community profile] kink_bingo fest. This fest encourages people to push the limits of their comfort zone by creating erotica, pr0n, smut, and other sexy stuff in the many flavors of kinky, sensual, and otherwise exotic activities. I'm hoping to attract some new readers for my writing.

The following story belongs to Schrodinger's Heroes, featuring an apocryphal television show supported by an imaginary fandom. It's science fiction about quantum physics and saving the world from alternate dimensions. It features a very mixed cast in terms of ethnicity and sexual orientation. This project developed with input from multiple people, and it's open for everyone to play in. You can read more about the background, the characters, and a bunch of assorted content on the menu page.

I've sponsored the poem "Lior's Dream" by [personal profile] thesilentpoet from the October Poetry for the Masses project.  This is a Schrodinger's Heroes/64-squared crossover, inspired by a prompt from [personal profile] wyld_dandelyon.

This is an advance announcement for the Tuesday, November 6, 2012 Poetry Fishbowl. This time the theme will be "influential women." I'll be soliciting ideas for queens, women in science, heras, women in literature, historic and mythic figures, people who love them, symbols of women's power, tools women use, things that women have appropriated from men (or vice versa), historic locations discovered or made famous by women, battlegrounds where women won, the palaces of queens or empresses, important discoveries made by women, women's contributions to literature, historic events that women influenced, and poetic forms in particular.

Also, I need a volunteer to host the linkback poem.  Please contact me if you're willing to do that; it will get you on the Donors list.

If you're interested, mark the date on your calendar, and please hold actual prompts until the "Poetry Fishbowl Open" post next week.  (If you're not available that day, or you live in a time zone that makes it hard to reach me, you can leave advance prompts.)  Meanwhile, if you want to help with promotion, please feel free to link back here or repost this on your blog.

[personal profile] kajones_writing has posted a call for prompts. The themes are Donor House and Halloween, so take your pick. If you're not good at thinking up prompts, you can leave a random number. You get 500 words per prompt, and if you boost the signal, you get an extra 500 words for one prompts per service where you linked the prompt call. If 5 people prompt during this session, there will be one bonus story of 1,000 words (a World Walkers autumn story). Every prompter following the fifth will add another 500 words to the story. I know some folks have been reading, so please leave prompts!
