Analyzing White Characters
Sep. 7th, 2012 02:47 am ... that wouldn't work as people of color. Fascinating.
I've got one. Chris in Schrodinger's Heroes only works as a good ol' boy because he's white, and as such, he makes a terrific contrast to the very mixed remainder of the cast and also to his obnoxious relatives. Now granted, I set things up that way after I rolled his ethnicity and gender, because I saw how useful that would be. But it still plays into the characterization far more than usual.

Sep. 7th, 2012 02:30 pmAll of the standard perks are activated: $200 (free epic poem), $250 (tally toward a bonus fishbowl), and $300 (half-price sale). This is the third tally, so there will be a bonus fishbowl later this month. That moves the half-price sale to next month.
The general fund currently contains $41.25 and you'll get to choose which of the available epics you'd like to open. I'm throwing in "Strike Twice" (Path of the Paladins) as an option since it just unlocked.
The linkback perk poem "Alone in the Bee-Loud Glade" is still open. You can now reveal verses by linking to this list of unsold poetry.
