Today's Adventures

ysabetwordsmithToday we went up to the town-wide rummage sales in Arthur. The weather was pretty good -- quite warm, but cloudy with a brisk breeze. It started spitting rain on the way up, but that quit after just a minute.
I was looking for storage containers and large flowerpots. I found several big tubs, a large pot, and two trough pots. No tupperware, alas. But I did also find someone selling landscape rock, so I bought a bunch of that. I wound up paying more than I intended -- there was some disagreement between the seller and his wife about prices -- but to be fair, I'd have paid more for just the one boulder at a garden center. My partner Doug was watching for an office chair, but we didn't spot one this time.
For lunch, we hit the little cluster of food trucks. I got a corn dog. Doug got a Polish sausage and some fried banana slices. It was a tasty lunch.
On the way home, we stopped at Beachy's to pick up eggs.
It has been a fun and productive day.
