Barbaset "Barb" -- He is a demon with pale skin except for a dark mask around his eyes. He has white eyes with black slitted pupils and shaggy black hair. He has human ears, but also a set of cat ears atop his head. His teeth are pointed. His black furred tail is mostly feline, but has a scorpion stinger hidden at the tip, hence his nickname. Barb is the son of Barbas. He can heal or cause injuries and diseases, reveal secrets, and teach the mechanical arts. He shapeshifts into a lion, a panther, a housecat, or a manticore-like demonic cat at will, all black. However, he is still young for a demon, so his powers are limited.

The lair is in the basement of an old brick building.
The summoning room has a smooth floor for diagrams.
The living room includes a sitting area and a viewscreen.
The kitchen has a refrigerator-freezer, stove, and microwave oven. The far side of the kitchen has cabinets and a single sink.
The bathroom includes a sink, a toilet, and a shower.
The bedroom has a full-size bed, an easy chair, and some shelves.
