Snowflake Challenge 12: Appreciation
Jan. 23rd, 2026 04:02 amSnowflake Challenge 12: Appreciation
Today's challenge is all about delivering appreciation where it's due. Who makes your fandom life better?
Make an appreciation post to those who enhance your fandom life. Appreciate them in bullet points, prose, poetry, a moodboard, a song... whatever moves you!

I appreciate my audience.
You give me inspiration in prompts and discussions. You take my writing to places it would never go without you. You ask for the things that mainstream literature just isn't interested in delivering, but we are.
You help me polish my writing. It's not just spotting typos, it's stuff like that time someone corrected my Google translated Modern Greek into the Classic Attic Greek appropriate to a poem.
You pitch in whenever someone needs ideas or advice. Somebody always has an answer.
You live such interesting lives. I know scientists, librarians, clergy of several religions, people from different ethnic heritage, living in places all over the world. It's such fun to hear bits of your day.
You share your fannish passions, and sometimes that makes me want to look up something on my own. I got into Miraculous Ladybug because I'd seen a friend following it.
So thank you for being you.
Bonus: Also, I appreciate the folks who make
snowflake_challenge happen each year. It's a favorite event where I usually make at least one new friend. You're making a difference by running it.
