Good news includes all the things which make us happy or otherwise feel good. It can be personal or public. We never know when something wonderful will happen, and when it does, most people want to share it with someone. It's disappointing when nobody is there to appreciate it. Happily, blogging allows us to share our joys and pat each other on the back.

My friend made a really really nice comic about Russian mythology, but they keep cutting themself down. I did my best to convey my pleasure with it anyhow, and hopefully they'll use my praise to gain some self-confidence. But I'm kind of exhausted. So I'm mentioning it here too, where I can just say it's a beautiful comic and not have to worry about getting argued down.

Honestly, no matter the quality level of a creative work, anyone who makes a thing is ahead of all the people who only talk about making things but never do. That's important. If you make a page, a chapter, it's a small accomplishment unto itself.

Russian mythology is really picturesque. It's a leading theme on their lacquerware. I think I brought back one of a firebird.
