Today the miniature irises are blooming in more colors, and more bees are out. So I took a few pictures.
A wide view of the rain garden shows miniature irises blooming amidst various crocuses. Tiny insects are hiding in some of the flowers.

This cluster of crocuses has medium blue irises in it.

Here's a closeup of the blue miniature irises. There's a fly on one white crocus in the upper left.

This cluster has one of the dark purple irises. They look almost black, but the picture makes them look lighter.

Here's a closer view of the dark purple miniature iris.

The goddess garden is still blooming all in purples and blues.

This miniature iris has narrower petals of medium blue with dark indigo tips.

These miniature irises have narrow petals with darker blue tips, blooming in the tulip bed. This is before I raked the leaves off the tulip bed.

This dark purple iris is in the daffodil bed.

I saw several honeybees, and a bumblebee repeatedly buzzed around but refused to pose. When I came back toward the house, though, I caught the bumblebee in the crocuses.
