Re: illegal to hunt whales in Oregon - I know whales have swim up the delta into the Sacramento River before. I’m sure they occasionally get lost-or-adventurous ones in the Columbia. And I’m not sure exactly how jurisdiction works along the coastlines, but I expect some amount of ocean is also under Oregon’s control…
