ysabetwordsmithWe went up to Amish territory today.
For lunch we had shrimp tacos. <3
We shopped around at several different places and made some good finds. One thing I found was a couple of short chains that can be used to hang things.
One place we stopped at had strawberries. :D There is a strawberry festival later this month that we'd like to catch.
We got ice cream for dessert. My partner Doug got blackberry and I got brownie explosion, both very good.
I bought some flowers, herbs, and vegetable plants. I forgot to pick up a mixed pack of wave petunias, though, which annoys me because they're a favorite and I've only seen the in single-color packs before. These were white, lavender, and purple.
On the way home, we stopped at a panderia for pastries.
We also check out a Mexican grocery store, which is excellent. They have a little botanica in one corner with glass candles and such. They have several racks of spices. I found chile pequins, which I didn't even know were commercially available -- they're wild peppers, only about pea size. So I bought some.
