It has been said that the Lord does not count the time spent fishing against one's allotted span.

I don't know about that, but I do know it's an excellent excuse to get out into nature, maybe take a nap... and in that spirit one doesn't need to put a hook or bait on the line and no-one needs to be any the wiser.

When you count the health benefits of time in nature, and fish as a healthy food, that adds up about right.
