Birdfeeding

Today is sunny and mild.
I fed the birds. I've seen a fox squirrel and a starling. I heard something that sounded like an owl (who-who-what?) but not one I recognized. EDIT 2/20/23: This is probably a collared dove.
I put out water for the birds.
I took a few pictures of the spring flowers.
I started cutting brush around the birdgift tree.
EDIT 2/20/23 -- I cut more brush around the birdgift tree.
A few of the honeysuckles are starting to leaf out.

Potential Calls

Date: 2023-02-20 11:33 pm (UTC)I've always had mourning doves here. There are pigeons in the area but not in my yard at present. It may be that the mourning doves filled the niche and the Eurasian collared doves just hadn't been around.
