I took some pictures in my yard on Thursday, May 20.
This is the barrel garden. I don't know what the tall orange thing is, some volunteer. The little sprouts along the right edge are morning glories and a couple of moonflowers.

Here is a closeup of the orange flower.

The purple and white garden has alliums blooming and hostas leafed out.

Lavender bergamot is blooming in the strip garden by the patio.

Chives are starting to bloom in the cistern garden on the patio.

The septic garden is still mostly wild onions, but you can see where I've cleared space and planted flower seeds.

The white garden at the end of the driveway has alliums blooming.

Here is a closeup of hte alliums. They make really big heads, like baseball size.

The wagonwheel garden is at the end of the driveway, opposite the white garden.

Purple and yellow irises are blooming. They have a strong, sugary smell.

The wiildflower garden in the savanna has been somewhat weeded so I could plant seeds.

Wood hyacinths are blooming. There are pink and blue ones too, but they're mostly done; the white ones bloomed a little later.

The tricolor beech is leafed out.

So is the Japanese maple.

Purple irises are blooming in the flowerbed by the parking lot.
