Mar. 31st, 2021 12:01 amI took some pictures of my yard on Monday, March 22.
A purple crocus blooms beside columbine leaves in the rain garden by the patio.

These white crocuses are blooming near the barrel garden.

Bluebells are sprouting in the forest garden.

Daffodils are blooming around the maple tree by the south lot.

So are these crocuses.

All sorts of things are sprouting in the purple-and-white garden.

These daffodils are blooming under the birdgift tree.

Wild onions and wild chives are coming up around the septic garden.

The fallen log is beginning to crumble. Many things live there now.

These are the old owl pellets in the south lot.

This one has mostly fallen apart.

This one is holding together more.

Daylilies are sprouting in a big patch near the road.

Wild flowers wander where they will. These crocuses have randomly sprouted in the yard not far from the road.

Pale miniature irises are blooming in the white garden.

So are these snowdrops.

Daylilies and naked ladies are sprouting by the old fishpond.

Hollyhocks are coming up by the telephone pole.

More of the miniature irises are blooming in the wildflower garden.

This one is purple.

Snowdrops run wild in the shady end of the savanna near the ritual meadow. This is one of the bigger patches.

The prairie garden is almost barren this year. Not all the grass and weeds flattened like they usually do, and few of the daffodils are up. I don't know why.

This bunch is blooming though.

The tulip bed has some shoots.

These are large irises.

Here are some peonies.

The daffodils are well up.

More of the purple irises have wandered beyond the edge of the flowerbeds.

Home base has daffodils, crocus, and blue grape hyacinths growing underneath.

This is a pale purple crocus.

Here is the goddess garden (without its statue).

Purple crocus and yellow winter aconite are blooming.
