I'm not a big fan of vegetables in any context, but I especially don't want them to be the first thing I confront when I wake up. A pile of waffles with a big side order of bacon. Or a half-dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts (I refuse to spell it "donuts")- also with that side order of bacon. Melons are great big wet balls that smell like fruit-scented shampoo.
