One of my nursing students is afraid of blood but informed me she was okay with it in child birth and she was going to be in with the new moms. I said you have NO idea where you'll be put to work in a hospital. It's not like it was 40 years ago. You tend to float. She refuses to believe me (I doubt she'll make it through training)
