If only history had gone that way... Princess Diane was also campaigning against mines and generally anti-war... her lover/significant other at the Dodi Al Fayed was damn wealthy and had quite a bit of pull with the UAE, and supported her.
If she'd lived, the conditions for 9/11 to happen likely would've changed, and it might not have occured.
