In the interest of descriptive honesty: This society would like everyone to *think*, and does its best to reinforce, that boundaries are only for people with power. That doesn't make it true. This society would like everyone to *think* that reporting is only for when someone without authority commits a violation. That way lies justice denied before it can be sought.
