Abd-Qadir -- a common Islamic term for someone with superpowers. It means Servant of the All-Powerful. The implication is that, as humans are reflections of Allah and His virtues, some are reflecting individual and differing aspects of His universal power. Some use the term only for Muslims, while others use it for everyone, largely depending on whether they see God only in other Muslims or in the whole of humanity. As a volunteer group, the Abd-Qadir use their superpowers for emergency services, much like the Abd-Raheem.
القادر Al-Qadir
The All-Powerful, He Who is able to do Everything
Abd-Raheem -- citizens in the Republic of the Maldives who have volunteered to assist in case of emergency. The name means something like Servant of the Most Compassionate, a reference to Al-Raheem as a title of God ... which Muslims are not actually supposed to use by themselves without tempering it, but a quick search online shows it plastered all over the place. When moving through a disaster scene they shout, "B-ismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi!" (بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ) "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful!" Arabic is widely understood throughout most of the Muslim world, but at home in the Maldives, they also use Dhivehi. It's like how people in Terramagne-America holler "Emergency Services!" or the name of their department to let victims know who's coming.

Pontoon modules can be used to make many maritime structures, such as a marina. Terramagne typically keeps some along waterfronts in case something destroys the existing structures; it's a quick way to replace things enough for boats to dock.
From January through May we actively spot California Gray Whales. Gray Whales make an extensive migration during the winter and spring from the Chukchi and Bering Sea’s in Alaska down to three wintering lagoons in Baja Mexico. On the way down to Mexico, a majority of pregnant females end up giving birth just above Los Angeles and swim down along the coast with their small babies in tow. Around 20,000 Grays are moving up and down the coast during this time of year, which makes it a great time for whale watching.
Learn about gray whales and their anatomy.
It typically takes 9-11 hours for a tsunami to cross the Pacific Ocean between the United States and Japan, depending on where it starts and other factors.
December 20, 1946 Honshu, Japan
A catastrophic magnitude 8.1 Mw earthquake on December 20, 1946 on the south coast of Honshu, Japan was felt almost everywhere in the central and western parts of the country. The number of homes destroyed directly by the earthquake was 2,598; 1,443 people died. In addition, 1,451 homes were washed away by the ensuing tsunami waves. The tsunami was observed on tide gauges in California, Hawaii and Peru. (Reference #414)

After spending a few hours cleaning up, Aquariana and the whales retire to rest. Then they teleport to Japan to protect Taiji from the tsunami.
