After fertilization, the female barnacle broods its eggs until they hatch as a minute nauplius larva which swims until it transforms to another larval stage called a cypris that then settles head-down on a suitable surface.
In whiptail lizards, two females can stimulate reproduction in each other.
Some male cuttlefish disguise themselves as females.
Anglerfish females have males attached as small growths.
Cotton-top tamarins have fathers raise babies.
Gas giants often have a combination of hydrogen and methane.
