I think Cas might manifest Guardian Angel abilities.
Defensive bodyguards [or other protectors] steering each other off is /not/ good.
Mayhaps they could solve a few problems by making Cas and Ned the respective 'ambassadors' for their groups - wanting things to go smoothly would be an asset there, I'd think.
