Birdfeeding

ysabetwordsmithToday is mild, damp, and gray. It's been raining off and on. Earlier I got out and spread grass seed between the house and driveway where Doug raked leaves by the woodpile.
I fed the birds. Today I've seen sparrows, doves, house finches, and a robin.
It was raining again when I fed the birds, so I couldn't do any more yardwork.
More flowers are blooming -- I can see daffodils in several places, and the blue grape hyacinths have buds. Yesterday I saw wood hyacinths blooming in the purple-and-white garden. Forsythia is started to bloom too.
