Niles Leland -- He has ruddy skin, brown eyes, and short brown hair. He is tall and lanky. Athletic and independent, Niles lives in a cabin near Rutledge, Vermont where he works as a ski instructor and guide. He uses his knowledge of nature to ensure safe and fun trips for his clients. He dislikes most technology, though, preferring skis to cars and notebooks to computers.
