Lesser of two evils, smoking hole or crap ton of toxins leaching into one of the most sensitive and important eco-systems on the planet, with a good chance that all it'll do is make it easier for the surviving gene-engineered bugs to infest.
Unless Tony can whip up some micro-bot hunter-killers specifically targeting the nasty super-bugs in short order, it'll have to be quick and dirty before they spread.
