Today is gray and hot.
I planted a yellow raspberry in the patch by the orchard. I planted a white spruce tree at the edge of the savanna near the old fish pond.
EDIT 5/13/18: I put covers and mulch over the new plants, and watered them. It's 90 out, so I have to work in small stages. :/
EDIT 5/13/18: I planted wild ginger, yellow violet, Solomon's seal, and celandine poppy in the forest garden outside the kitchen window.
EDIT 5/13/18: I weeded the goddess garden and put the ceramic goddess statue back in the center. Happily, most of the thyme from last year survived, it's just sprouting slowly. I planted a Foxley thyme (which is variegated) and a silver thyme there.
EDIT 5/13/18: In the white garden at the end of the driveway, I planted artemesia. I also potted up a set of three different basil plants in the oval trough.

Date: 2018-05-14 05:21 pm (UTC)But stuff comes in and dies off rapidly enough that it's hard to keep track precisely. Labels get lost or mixed around. Last summer I lost track of which pepper plants were which until they fruited, because the damn pots blew over so many times that it all got mixed together. >_<
This year, I bought cheap heavy potting soil. I have one new trough planter and want to get more. Hopefully things will stay put better.
