"The Day of the Night"
Today is the Day of the Night,
the shortest day and the longest night,
when the summer is as far away
as it will ever be and the winter
holds the world in its grip.
The unicorns parade
around the temple,
their yellow coats
hung with green leaves,
a silent reminder that life goes on.
