I think one of my main achievements of 2017 was introducing cumin to my siblings and having them actually like it! I've successfully added Cajun and Jamaican Jerk inspired spice mixes to the regular family dinner rotation. Someday I'm going to get curry in there but the last few attempts at Indian haven't gone well and my sister hates coconut milk in savory dishes so I haven't had much like with Thai curries either.
