(I've been wingslapped by a goose and an great horned owl*. The goose hit way harder, but the wol clocked me right in the temple. I saw stars.)
....and off to reread Fledgeling Grace. <3 I will tuck that in the back of my mind for future fishbowls, too!
*Why was I clocked by an owl? Because he was a rescue-bird, and I was holding him so his rehabber could stuff a mouse into his furious beak. He Did Not Approve, but he did eventually make a recovery.
