Likely so. I do know that the Picts survived as a culture by doing what they do best: sneaking. So far I've spotted two, Walden and Pips, although they come from different clans.

Depends on how you count. All human populations have a common background, but it's so far back that it doesn't mean much. Many of the similarities in tribal societies are not based on relation but on convergent evolution -- people find that certain things just work better. Celtic culture is much later and farther west than the Asian and Siberian landroute progenitors of Native Americans. However, the searoute wave came a little later. If you want the really spectacular Celtic connection, you have to look for the extremely obscure references to the "crystal ships" and the "white brothers." They were crossing the Atlantic with hide-sail ships at a time when the Romans were still figuring out that you can't get that far with a trireme no matter how hard you beat your slaves.
