There are "kneeling" buses too, that lower and raise themselves. For most purposes, the best setup is a lift and one or two wheelchair docks, plus regular seats. In T-America, many apartment buildings or other organizations have their own shuttlebus for group outings and this style is very popular for that. There are also all-wheelchair buses. I think I showed one of those for a wheelchair basketball team.
