Yep. It's a conglomeration of useful facets:
* They are all quite attached to each other.
* Turq knows that his friends mean well and his feelings are not always reliable.
* Janie knows that Turq isn't actually going to make a pass at either of them. She just flipped out because she was startled.
* Ansel knows he has sleep inertia and not to do important things on too little brain.
* Janie knows enough EFA to handle first responder friends melting down on the couch, and Ansel has more detailed training.
Some of that is replicable, which is why emotionally intelligent people disagree differently than inept ones.

It's his first attempt sleeping indoors, and he's not ready for it -- the weather forced their hand. He was bound to freak out over something. I'm just impressed they managed to pull it back together as well as they did. \o/
