Yay!
Fair warning: My writing has been described as "flypaper for eyeballs." There are several thousand pieces online. I suggest that people have some significant free time before diving into it.
>> Thank you for the sexual orientations link! I had a feeling I'd probably missed it. *sheepish* ^^;; <<
No big deal. I had to go back and look for it myself.
>> I'll be looking forward to the prompt call post, I'm not really familiar with that, so it'll be good to find out about it! :3 <<
Just read the description at the top of the post, or you can check out last month's fishbowl for an example.
The basic idea is that I set a theme (in this case, alternate realities) and people give me ideas based on that. Then I write poems based on whatever I get. I post a thumbnail description and a price for each poem. I also post a whole one for free, as thanks for the prompts. People can sponsor more poems if they wish. Standard prices are $5-20 and epics are typically $.50/line. If you're not sure what to do, just watch a few other folks commenting with phrases, and try to copy what they're doing with different ideas that interest you. Just riffing on our recent conversation, "alternate realities" could bring up "sudden change in sexual orientation" or "someone staring at a list of genders wonder if anything fits them."
