For this purpose, L-America has quite nice mattress toppers, some foam and others gel. We had a really nice eggcrate-style one that was like sleeping on a cloud. The new mattress is also nice, with a combination of foam and gel, but lacks the peaks. Shop around, you should find something helpful.
