What would it look like if hate crimes became a capital offense -- and white/male folks weren't routinely given exemptions?
For that matter, what would happen if rape was declared to be a hate crime?
What if there was a soup whose power was to trace online trolls and... do something to them? The something could be physical (they die, they disappear) or I'm rather leaning toward "they become incapable of operating a computer or any equipment controlled by one". Meaning they're suddenly living early-20th-century lives where they have to do everything in person or by mail; they can't even use an ATM. Depending on how far that goes, they might not even be able to drive any car newer than about an early 70s model, because that's when the electronic engine controls started becoming ubiquitous. (I also think this soup would have to be a cricket.)
